ART Nostalgia| Pixel Shader code for ASCII Art

I remember hearing the whine of the dot matrix printer while we printed character based images in highschool. It was the only way to get poster size images back then, and they folded nicely for transport also! Tech geeks follow the link to the code for a character shader that interpolates photography by dividing the image into pixles, assigning  a grey value to each pixel  and deciding which character is appropriate to represent that value.
