CDC Receives Award for Wauwatosa School District Identity
Catral Doyle creative co. is once again honored to have been presented with an American Graphic Design Award – this time in the category of corporate identities and logos. The award-winning logo is the Wauwatosa School District’s new identity, designed by Shawn Doyle with Susan Catral as art director.
CDC had developed two identities and associated color palettes that were both very well-received by the school board. Rather than try to make the decision amongst themselves, the Wauwatosa School Board decided to give teachers, students, parents and other Wauwatosa residents the opportunity to vote online for the logo and color combination that they felt best represented the district. It was this award-winning mark that was favored and ultimately adopted by the district in the Fall of 2007.
The American Graphic Design Awards are sponsored by Graphic Design USA, a monthly business-to-business magazine for professional graphic designers and related creative and production professionals, honors new outstanding graphic design, advertising art and marketing communications created by American graphic designers and art directors. Winners are featured in Graphic Design USA's Awards Annual, a 300-page edition published in December.
Catral Doyle creative co. combines experience in both interior design and visual communications to offer clients an integrated range of brand communications services.
